How we make things
One person at the center. Claude, an AI by Anthropic, as the outer cortex around them.
The idea
Your brain's cortex is the thin outer layer that does a lot of the thinking. We treat Claude as a second, outer layer. It does the heavy building. The person in the middle does the choosing.
Neither side makes the work alone. Claude can write a thousand lines of drawing code, but it doesn't decide what is worth making or when a frame looks right. That part stays human.
Who does what
The person
- Picks the ideas
- Chooses what to research and what to trust
- Sets the look and the taste
- Checks every video, frame by frame
- Decides what ships
Claude
- Writes the code that draws each frame
- Drafts scripts and research notes
- Builds the tools, games and pages
- Makes changes when something looks off
Drawn with code
Every picture in our videos is drawn by code: shapes, lines and colors placed by a program, one frame at a time. We don't use AI image generators for the art.
The songs on our albums are made with an AI music tool. Their music videos are drawn with code, like everything else.
When AI plays a part, we say so. That's why this page exists.
Watch it happen
Behind-the-scenes videos go up on @ExaCortex as we make them.
